This page will hold the terms for using Tizmos: the website at tizmos.com, the teacher app at app.tizmos.com, and every Tizmo opened from a link, a QR code or a printed card. The final text is being reviewed. Until it is published here, nothing on this page should be read as a binding term.
What the final terms will cover
- Who the terms are between — Tizmos (made by Buttercloud) and the teacher, school or district that holds the account. Families and students never hold an account and are not asked to accept anything to open a Tizmo.
- Plans and billing — what Free includes, what Pro, Team and Schools add, how monthly and yearly billing and cancellation work, consistent with the pricing page.
- Your content — the Tizmos, recordings, and printed materials a teacher makes remain the teacher’s. What it means that a Tizmo is listed in the community library by default and lives on the teacher’s public page, and how to take one out of the library.
- Acceptable use — what a Tizmo may and may not ask a student to do, with safety and supervision in mind.
- Availability, changes, and ending an account — including what happens to reports and archived data, consistent with the retention periods on the pricing page.
- Liability, governing law, and how to contact us.
