Open it
A link by message or email, a QR code, or a printed card from the backpack. Nothing to download, nothing to sign in to.

Watch the hello
The teacher's own recorded hello, a short story, maybe a question. It says how long, where, and whether a grown-up should be nearby.

The screen goes dark
Your kid puts the phone down and goes. A timer counts up quietly. There is nothing else to watch.

Report back
A tap for done, an optional photo or short video, and one line about what they found. Then the Tizmo is complete.
The dark screen
It isn't a lock. It's a signal.
The mission screen shows the instruction, a timer, and one button. The instruction is short enough to remember with the phone face-down. The timer counts up: it is a receipt of time away, never a countdown that creates pressure. When they're back, they press the button and tell the teacher what happened.
Nothing plays while they're gone. No videos, no rewards, no "while you wait." The product is the absence.
What goes back to the teacher
Their teacher sees what they went and did.
The teacher sees who went, how long they were off the screen, and what they found. That is what lets them start the week with "tell me about the clock you found" instead of "did anyone do it?"

Privacy
No accounts. No ads.
- Kids never get an account, a username, or a profile. Neither do you.
- No advertising, anywhere a family or a student can see.
- What your kid reports goes to the teacher who sent the Tizmo. You choose whether to add a photo.

Questions families ask
Quick answers.
Do I need to make an account?
No. Families never make an account, and kids never do either. Open the link, or scan the card, and it plays.
Do I need to install anything?
No. A Tizmo opens in the browser you already have, on a phone, tablet or computer. If the teacher sent a printed card, you don't need a screen at all.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Families always use Tizmos free. The teacher may pay for extra classroom features; that never changes what you see.
How long does a mission take?
The teacher sets it. Every Tizmo says how long it should take, where it happens, and whether a grown-up should be nearby, before anyone starts.
What if we can't do it this week?
Nothing breaks. Open it when you can. The teacher simply sees that it hasn't come back yet.
What does the teacher see?
That the Tizmo was opened, that your kid came back, how long they were off the screen, and whatever they chose to report: a tap for done, an optional photo or short video, and one line.
Is a photo required?
No. Done is always enough. A photo or short video is there for when your kid wants to show what they found.
